At Mary’s Dog Grooming Parlour, we value your time and the well-being of every pet in our care. To ensure smooth scheduling and provide the best service to all our clients we have the following policies.

We understand that sometimes life just happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us in advance by giving more than 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the service your appointment was intended for.

A “no-show” is when a client misses a scheduled appointment without contacting us to cancel or reschedule in advance.
If you do not show up for your appointment and have not contacted or given us notice, a no show fee of 100% of the service your appointment was for will be charged.
Why this policy?
Each appointment time is reserved for your pet only. Missed appointment means lost income and unused time that could have been offered to another client in need of grooming services.

We want your pup to look and feel their very best. However, sometimes their coat can become too matted to safely brush out. In those case a gentle shave down is often the kindest and safest option for your dog.
Because shaving mats takes extra time, care and damage to equipment a small matting fee of £10 may be added onto your grooming total.

If your dog comes in with fleas a mandatory flea bath will be done.
An additional charge of £15 will be added to the grooming cost to cover the special flea shampoo, extra cleaning and sanitation as well as extra time to disinfect my salon and ensure that it is safe for the next appointment.
